Hermitage of La Vera Cruz.

The construction of the Hermitage and its annexed hospital would begin with the foundation of the homonymous Brotherhood in 1555, although the current appearance is the result of numerous transformations.

It has an austere façade of exposed brick with a bell gable and an interior with a single nave covered by a lowered barrel vault with groin arches and lunettes with oculi on one of its sides. The presbytery is covered with a half-orange on pendentives decorated with interesting frescoes from the 1730s representing the Holy Trinity, Sorrowful Virgin, and apostolate.

From the same date comes the main altarpiece made in Granada, with a central arch that houses the image of María Santísima de la Sangre, a dressed sorrowful Virgin made by Pedro de Mena in 1672; on its sides are the images of Saint Nicholas of Bari and Saint Francis Xavier.

The temple walls also house the images of Jesus tied to the column, a work brought from Granada in 1665, and the sculpture of the Most Holy Christ of La Vera Cruz, an image from the 16th century with a possible Castilian origin recently donated to the temple.
